The Archive Opens: Chronicles of The Hollow Circuit™

We are announcing the initiation of a massive archival project that has been fourteen years in the making.

Today marks the soft launch of Chronicles of The Hollow Circuit™ - the definitive repository for Art of FACELESS spanning over a decade of investigation into identity, anonymity, and the encroaching digital gaze.

What Is This Archive?

This is not just a gallery. It is a map of our trajectory.

Over the coming months, we will be populating the site with the complete 14-year history of Art of FACELESS, including:

Restored Archives
The full collection of our original photographic series and video works, many of which have been offline or scattered across platforms since 2012. These works document the foundation of what would become The Hollow Circuit™ - explorations of facelessness, identity collapse, and biometric vulnerability that began long before these became mainstream concerns.

The Biometric Timeline
A series of new posts and essays mapping the evolution of what we now call "biometric facial slavery." We will trace the predictions we made years ago alongside the reality of today's surveillance state, documenting how the human face became a tradable data point - and how Art of FACELESS predicted this trajectory in 2012.

The Narrative Archive
Chronicles, fragments, and documentation from The Hollow Circuit™ universe - the hyperstitional framework that evolved from our original photography work into a complete multimedia mythology. This includes the novels, visual novel components, and the philosophical infrastructure that made discoveries like the Veylon Protocol possible.

A Note on Timing

This consolidation became urgent following the discovery on January 17, 2026, that AI content farms had begun stealing terminology and concepts from our fourteen years of creative work. What was planned as a gradual archive migration became an accelerated documentation project to establish our prior use and protect our intellectual property.

The Hollow Circuit™ is a trademark owned by Art of FACELESS. All content represents continuous creative output established since August 4, 2012, with third-party verification via the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.

Full documentation of recent IP theft is available here.

From Glitch to Galaxy: The Evolution of a Philosophy

To understand where we are going, you have to understand where the signal began.

On August 4th, 2012, the philosophy of The Hollow Circuit™ was officially initialized with a simple, defiant manifesto that still sits on our front page:

"The Hollow Circuit - a glitch network for lost players, stray signals, and those who refuse the main storyline."

At the time, this was just a statement of intent - a rejection of the neatly curated, algorithmic lives that social media was beginning to demand. But that single frequency, that decision to "refuse the main storyline," became the seed for an entire multiverse.

The Novel and the Narrative Core

What began as a philosophical stance quickly calcified into a narrative. The concept of the "glitch" evolved into the Chronicles of The Hollow Circuit™ novel series. If there is a "main storyline" - the Oligarchy of Light, the surveillance state, the world of biometric enslavement - then there must be an underground.

The novels became the map of that underground, fleshing out the resistance of the "lost players" who exist in the static between the official channels.

Expanding into the Visual Novel

As the archives grew, text was no longer enough. The universe demanded visual immersion. The philosophy of "stray signals" birthed the development of our Visual Novel components. We needed to let audiences see the Beige Epoch and the neon-drenched decay of Alt. Cardiff.

The VN elements transformed the passive reader into an active participant - a "player" wandering the glitch network, making choices that mirror the ethical dilemmas of our real-world digital existence.

A Living Multiverse

Over fourteen years, these disparate threads - photography, fiction, game design, and critical theory - knitted together to form a cohesive digital ecosystem.

The Hollow Circuit™ is no longer just a story. It is a functioning multiverse.

It encompasses:

  • The Art of FACELESS archival history (2012-present)
  • The predictions of biometric control that are now coming true
  • The "stray signals" of our ongoing research and documentation
  • The Veylon Protocol methodology that emerged from this long-term practice

When you enter Chronicles of The Hollow Circuit™, you aren't just reading a blog. You are stepping into a 14-year-old active crime scene of identity - a place where the "glitch" is the only honest place left to hide.

What Happens Next

The site is currently live as we begin this upload process. We invite you to bookmark the coordinates and witness the history of The Hollow Circuit™ as it comes online.

Follow the signal: chroniclesofthehollowcircuit.com

The archive opens. The glitch network expands. The main storyline can go fuck itself.

The New Common Room: Why We’re Opening a Discord

We moved our Substack work to Ghost to save it. Now we’re moving the conversation to Discord to save us. By Art of Faceless The migration is complete. If you are reading this, you have successfully landed with us on the Sovereign Web. The archives are safe, the subscription list is secure, and, most importantly, there are no algorithms here recommending hate speech in the sidebar. But Ghost is a place for publishing. It is where we put the work on the wall. What we missed, immediately, are yo

When Art Becomes Research (And Nobody Can Tell the Difference)

Art of FACELESS February 2026 You know that feeling when you're watching a really good film, and halfway through you realise it's not just entertainment, it's actually teaching you something about how the world works? And then you can't separate the story from the insight anymore? That's basically what we've been building for 14 years, except it goes both ways, runs infinitely deep, and we've finally figured out the maths behind why it works. The Simple Version We run two websites: artoffa
