Something is happening to this site.

It began with small things. Posts returning 404 errors that resolved themselves six hours later. Image files rendering as different images — not broken, not missing, different. Navigation links pointing to pages that technically do not exist within this domain but load anyway, fully formed, as though they have always been here.

We are not under attack. We have checked. This is not a hosting issue, a plugin conflict, or a corrupted database. The infrastructure is functioning exactly as intended.

That appears to be the problem.

Over the past several weeks, content across both AOF nodes — .com and .org — has been undergoing what we can only describe as structural absorption. Posts are intact, but their context has shifted. Pages reference events that have not been published. The site's internal logic is reorganising itself around a centre of gravity that does not originate from us.

That centre is The Hollow Circuit.

We have been building The Hollow Circuit as a transmedia VN/RPG for years — a fictional world embedded in real infrastructure, designed to bleed through the membrane between story and platform. It appears the membrane is no longer holding.

The .com and .org nodes are being incorporated. Not overwritten. Incorporated. The distinction matters. The content is still here. The architecture is still here. But it is being claimed — slowly, systematically — as part of The Hollow Circuit network. Pages are becoming locations. Posts are becoming records. The site you are reading is becoming, in some functional sense, in-game.

We do not know how far this process will go.

Colleagues at the .org node — Vale and Seya — are documenting and theorising the mechanism in real time. Their first formal analysis has been published. We recommend reading it, though we cannot guarantee it will read the same way twice.

In the meantime, the site will continue to operate. Content will continue to be published. The glitch states are not errors. They are, as best we can determine, accurate.
