psychosis is not what you think

This is the psychosis thread.

Not a metaphor. Not a romanticised descent.
But the actual experience — raw, cyclical, disorienting, and real.
Hallucinations, ruptures, wordless months. The years it takes to come back.
If you come back at all.

What you’ll find here are the transmissions built from that space:

  • Writing forged during and after organic psychosis
  • Poetry from the edge of sleep and reason
  • Photographs taken while the world split into symbols
  • Voices that don’t align, but still sing
  • Video and sound that glitch, echo, and fragment like memory

These aren’t “mental health” stories wrapped in neat resolutions.
They’re maps drawn in blackout.
Art made inside the experience — not after it ended.

No pity. No shame. No filters.

Just the signal.

I Tore It Down Because I Needed To Live

[Poem]

Burnout’s a soft word for something brutal.
Sometimes it’s not stress—it’s collapse.
Sometimes it’s not just fatigue—it’s psychosis.

Let’s be clear:
Psychosis is not psychopathy.
It’s not horror movie tropes.
It’s not a cheap,

old,

tired,

fucking asylum level in your game.

It’s seeing things that aren’t there,
believing things that don’t hold,
hearing voices that know your name
and twist it into something sharp.

It’s disorientation.
Isolation.
Overwhelm.

And knowing you’ll be misunderstood the moment you name it.

So I stepped back.
I burned it down—quietly.
Because survival comes before structure.
Even beautiful ones.

What comes next will carry that truth.
It’ll be art.

Poetry.
Video.
Glitch.
Sound.

Not as therapy.

Not as redemption.

But as translation.

No masks.

No horror.

No pity.

Just transmission.

I’m not dangerous.
I’m not broken.
I’m not your monster.
I’m a poet.
And I’m rebuilding.
